• Basic surgery was trained from 1986 till 1993 in the University Clinic of Frankfurt am Main and then specialised in Traumatologic and Hand Surgery from 1993 till 1996
• Senior Instructor on traumatologic Workshops of the AO Foundation (ASIF Association for the Study of Internal Fixation)
• Member of the German Society for Surgery of the Hand
